Leather has been used to make footwear for centuries, and we are proud to be a leather company. Beautiful, timeless, and long-lasting, responsibly managed leather is one of the best natural materials for footwear due to its warmth, comfort, and easy-to-clean reparability.
How is our leather more responsible?
- We joined the Leather Working Group/LWG in 2013 to support more responsible leather manufacturing.
- We only use high-quality leathers that are by-products of the meat industry sourced from traceable suppliers.
- We do not use skins and furs from endangered animals.
- We avoid hazardous chemicals during the leather manufacturing process.
- We are trialing different hides and techniques to reduce chemicals and waste.
- We are replacing all leather linings with chrome-free leathers.
- To reduce waste, we have introduced recycled leather, made from scraps from suppliers certified against the Leather Working Group standards.
We are committed to supporting responsible leather manufacturing across the globe and that is why we are proud members of Leather Working Group/LWG.

Our leather targets
- Continue to select materials from Gold, Silver, and Bronze rated suppliers certified against the Leather Working Group audit standards.
- Implement better traceability while sourcing regenerative leathers through our partners.
- Drive innovation by improving our circular practices and materials.
- Use new tanning methods with fewer chemicals from suppliers who are working to lower their carbon emissions.
