This is my second pair of MIL 1978s, my first purchase was in grey, so when looking for a blue shoe it was an obvious go to for me. Distinctive, comfortable and easy to wear, I’ve had lots of compliments about the grey version and already a few about the blue. The solid colour makes a bold statement and the form is just argued enough as to be noticeable, but with a strong nod to a classic derby - so I anticipate years of happy wearing. Works with trousers and shorts equally well. Construction feels solid.
All in all, a fine shoe at a decent price.
